I’m so sorry.i use Benadryl I guess I just thought since my numbers were finally good I wouldn’t feel worse. I take 1,000milgrams of hydroxyurea also. Good luck on your journey.

I have had so much itching that I forgot why or how I got it..lol

While I'm pleased to hear your lab values look good, I'm sorry to hear you're suffering from itching. The lab tests look at many things, but not a inflammation-related chemicals in your body that are the hallmark of MPNs. The same chemicals that drive overproduction of cells also cause flu-like feelings, aches, fatigue, fast heart rate, mild-fever, and definitely itching.

I will have to ask my doctor about taking Benadryl. My skin is so sensitive when I itch it, it because a big bruise. Starting to look like a purple panda.

Dr., knows I’m on Benadryl and is ok with that, thanks though! It’s been a bit better this last two weeks or so! Yeah! Hope you all have relief from your itching and other symptoms!
