Wondering if there is anything I can do to reduce kidney issues. Should I avoid eating anything? Drink more water? Don't meet with my doctor for 4 more months. Will see if they can answer my questions but thought you all might have similar experiences. I found online kidney dysfunction happens frequently with MPNs but I had not heard about it. The research is all from 2020 and 2021 so new issue for researchers from what I can tell.

I had a Kidney Infection a couple of months ago that landed me a week in the Hospital. Drink plenty of water. I am also Diabetic with Hypertension. Honestly feel like a walking Pharmacy.

Scheduled to get an ultrasound to assess my kidney function. 2019 I was a stage 3 and now doing better at stage 2. It is worth getting checked out. Certain med and procedures like MRI with contrast will affect the kidneys, I do have hypertension which put me at a higher risk. I like the advice to drink lots of water, in which I am mindful of.

Drinking lots of H2O helps me.

I have MF and my doctor regularly checks my kidney function to make sure everything‘s ok so far so good. I drink lots of water💦
