Hi Dena. I did and am still changing my diet. I’m working on trying to eat food higher in fibre with more veg and fruit. That has really been the most effective with dealing with any weight gain.

I read during the early days of my diagnosis, that polycythemia was classified as a cancer in 2008. So fairly recent but I think because they understand the mechanism of it better. What is cancer? The uncontrolled growth of a cell in a body part. What is an MPN? The uncontrolled growth of blood cells in our bone marrow. Sounds like cancer to me.

That’s what I’m researching too. It’s crazy. Thank you for your reply. I produce to many. It’s still in the bone marrow.
