Orange Beach, AL

I am 63 and have ET with jak2 for about two years.
My plt is 672. I don’t have any symptoms. My blood clot tests all shows clotting time a lot longer than the middle of the normal range. But my doctor insists I take hydroxyruea. Now, I actually feel pretty terrible with all these side effects. I just wonder why period different clotting tests can not be a guidence of the ET treatment.
