My WBC went from around 8.5 to 5.5 and my platelets went from 385 to 286. Somehow the RBC count just keeps increasing. I made it 72 days before needing a phlebotomy but my RBC is 6.08. MCV and MCH are low and RDW is high; I thought I was becoming anemic and RBC would decrease but I guess not. Anyone else had besremi raise RBC counts?

My RBC started leveling off around the 4 month mark on Besremi. My doctor told me it can take up to a year for it to fully start to adjust. Red blood cells can have a life of up to 120 days so it can take some time. They may also adjust your dosage. Best of luck!

My hgb and RBCs increased slightly on Pegasys. But I have ET and unfortunately , until recently due to a trial medication, my hematocrit had been at or below the normal range.

Since the entire time I've had ET, my RBCs have been just below the normal range or at it, the slight increase was good for me.

I haven't heard anyone with PV have an increase. Hopefully, others will comment.

I'm jak2 positive.
