I had shortness of breath and extreme weight gain due to bloating. I'm off of it now.

I think I may have answered this one, but if not, weight gain! Make sure to get shingles vaccine before starting. Keep a log of how you feel and any negatives etc to establish patterns, resolutions or concerns.

I don't have PV but I did take Jakafi. I had pretty extreme water retention and shortness of breath but the latter may have been more my issue. I took it for 7-8 months then was moved to Inrebic.

I’ve PV and have been taking Jakafi for almost 18 mo. It gave back yo be my life by relieving my symptom burden and reducing counts.

There have been some hiccups though. Get your shingles vaccine before you begin taking it. I had the old one and 1 of the two required for the more recent; they weren’t enough, and I had a terrible go around with that.

My joint pain had been worse since but that also might be age related.

I also have gained 30 pounds and can’t get it off.

Am on Anagrelide for last 10 months. What happened with your Anagrelide ?
