I was having problems with ulcers on my tongue and blisters on my gums from Hydrea. My platelets at the time were 297. The Hydrea was stopped by my doctor 5 1/2 months ago. No other platelet lowering medication was ordered. I am still taking my daily Aspirin. My platelet counts since then have only been 305 then 330. I thought they would have rebounded after stopping Hydrea. My concern is that maybe my marrow is becoming more fibrotic.
