Your doctor can wean you off the drug but I have found it very beneficial for the past 2 years. The largest dosage that is tolerable is best to help with spleen shrinkage.

Richardg... I want to stop it because it appears it would be a long time before my spleen gets to normal. I'm concerned about my kidneys and liver if i take it a long period.
