ET And Fatigue For Several Days Each Month
Hello All!I am 44, with TE, platelets count around 750K, on baby aspirin. I have been experiencing great exhaustion and tiredness over the past 5 months, but only for 4-5 days in a row each month. I was wondering whether anyone else with ET has similar symptoms or I should look into hormones or other causes. Any tip on how to deal with fatigue is very welcome! Thank you!
Makes me very happy that I said something that helps you. Another thing that helps me, which you likely already know, is coffee. I limit it at two or three cups a day and stop after 3 p.m. That first cup in the morning, which I happen to be drinking right now, is something I cherish.
Coffee is my go to vice much like chocolate as I abstain from alcohol, drugs, and gambling
Thank you, Janice! I thought Vitamins B are a bit controversial in connection with MPNs but B12 helps indeed with fatigue! Will make sure to discuss this with my hematologist at my upcoming appointment!
I've learned from this website that symptoms can vary greatly. I'm relatively lucky re energy level as long as I sleep OK, which is sometimes challenging. My tip for energy: 2000 mg of Vitamin B12. It's on the meds/supplement list I show my doctors and they haven't nixed it.
Classic ET. I had to retire.
