I found out I have hypothyroidism, I had a hysterectomy in November. It is not as bad as last year, but continues to happen. Was hoping someone can provide some guideance.

The same thing happened to me. Do you by chance take Hydroxyurea? That's what caused my severe GI problems. Had tons of tests, with no clear diagnosis for the cause, and after researching a lot, that is my conclusion.

I wish you didn't have all these challenges, Ana.

I’ve seen 15+ doctors over the last 16 months, due to the nature of all of these symptoms, it’s been a long road to get to a diagnosis, but with that, now it is about putting all of the pieces (symptoms) together to have a clear picture as to what is link or related to what. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

This sounds awful, Ana. It must make it hard for you to get good nutrition.

I don't have any experience with this; maybe someone else will chime in.

Have you been able to talk to your doctors about this very serious problem?

Regarding thyroid: I've been treated for Hashimoto's thyroiditis for 40 years. 100 mcg of Synthroid has kept my thyroid level normal, ever since the correct dosage was found. Also: Does over-the-counter Bonine help you with nausea? I keep it in my purse for occasional motion sickness. I hope a solution is found for you. Good luck!
