Hello Geraldine. The diagnosis that we have can be lived with. I was told its something you live with, not die from. There have been several people on here with a diagnosis more than 20 years old, this gave me piece of mind and the strength to carry on, I honestly needed that reassurance.

Leukemia is a different animal, it's symptoms are vague and varied, similar to ET anyway, but we're all already on that radar, we don't have to convince anybody that we don't feel well, the clinicians already know that, that should lead to better outcomes for us.

I honestly want to keep myself and everybody else in positive mood, concentrate on what makes you happy.

I shall also try my best to avoid posting whilst emotionally charged and somewhat tipsy, which is possibly worse than late night alcohol induced amazon purchases, don't tell me you've never done it😂😂😂.

Thank you for your condolences.

Leukemia is something i dread, i regard it as the endgame. As for symptoms, this is difficult. I had no symptoms for my thyroid or my mpn, to the point that despite the diagnosis I felt like a fraud. I read peoples stories, I feel fortunate but expext to experience the same in time.
When in a more rational mood I tell myself to live my life, try to ignore what may or may not happen, enjoy whatever brings happiness, put faith into your clinicians as they are far more skilled than you are.
In short, try not to look for things that can wrong, but to seek that brings comfort and joy.
I must apologise because I've had a drink, spent the evening with an old school friend who's just lost the love of his life to cancer. My parting shot to him was that I wasn't in a good place, but I am in a better place than he is.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Is Leukemia the end game? What are the symptoms? I try to stay positive. Sorry to hear about your friend. Let’s enjoy the rest of our lives. I love the Theater. I go often. Make someone else happy, and pray for us all.
