My doctor is considering this combination, so I’d really like to hear about your experience and side effects. I found this study as well: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11121867/

Hi, I haven't heard of anyone on this combo but, it might be beneficial. What dose of anagrelide are you currently taking? Have you tried a lower dose anagrelide to see if the effects on your heart go away?
That's a great question to bring to this community! While personal experiences from other myMPNteam members with that specific combination aren't available here right now, some helpful background on both medications can be shared.

I’m currently taking both meds. 1500 mg HU and 3mg of Anagrelide each day. It’s only been 3 weeks since the Anagrelide changed from .5 mg to 1 mg, and my next lab isn’t until next week. The only thing I’m noticing is increased coughing. I don’t know if this is because of the meds or the summer allergies.
