I’ve tried B12 too but it seems to interfere with sleep. I do take it occasionally

I take the B12 with morning meds and haven't noticed a sleep issue from it. Recently I am sleeping much better, after I started taking every night, around 8 p.m., 25 mg Benadryl/Diphenhydramine and 5 mg Melatonin. I do that earlier than I go to sleep as I want to make sure it has time to wear off during the night. I resisted doing this for years but my ET specialist said this was OK. I feared that Benadryl might increase the risk of dementia but the doctor said not sleeping well could also increase the risk of dementia. I feel much, much better now that I'm sleeping well.

I've said this before on this website. I did some research and checked with my PCP and MPN specialist. Both approved 2000 mg of Vitamin B12 for my ET condition. I find that it restores the energy that was depleted by the illness.

I find no difference when they increase or decrease my meds. Now I have anemia so a bit more tired all the time. Everyone reacts differently to the medications.
