How Do We Handle Covid 19? Hibernate At Christmas?
A myMPNteam Member asked a question 💭

I'm worried about my family coming home for Christmas from 4 different states. Should I cancel Christmas? I know they'd be careful, but with PV can I be around other people at all?

Yes you can. You still have to live your life. Don't be a recluse. Use practical precautions like having all attendees take a Covid test prior to their arrival. You can wear a mask if you want. Enjoy your life and your family. Make sure you are current on your vaccines and boosters. Blessings to you !

Don’t cancel your plans!! Absolutely not. Keep doing what you’re doing. If a lot of the activity is at your home; use a lot of antibacterial wipes to clean especially refrigerator handles. If you are yourself preparing raw poultry, be sure to maintain 20 second handwashing after touching. avoid cross-contamination; don’t leave the turkey, stuffing, etc. sitting out very long. If anyone appears to have respiratory symptoms, don’t be smooching them and politely explain why you need to keep your distance or wear a mask. Take care of yourself by not forgetting to stop and relax when you can, and keep hydrated with lots of water and not so much of the booze. Have a wonderful time with your loved ones and watch a Hallmark movie to cut the stress! (Forgive all the granny reminders that are so ho-hum to most of you).

Yes, just went today( because I ask my Doctor) for an ultrasound. Make sure you push to have it!! Because we know our bodies and mine came back enlarged. I’ve had those symptoms for years and was misdiagnosed.

I have had pain on left side for over a year now. I finally went to ER last March 2020 & had my gallbladder taken out which is on right side.
A CT scan shows nothing on ray right side but I think it’s my spleen,
Anyone have anything similar?
